Elegance in shades of coffee

OREA Hotel Pyramida from the 1980s realized 32 new rooms in the C wing according to the design by ra15. In addition to the completely new layout and interior, the project included new technical installations meeting the current requirements, primarily fire safety requirements. In addition to the new interiors, the hotel also received, for example, a back-up power supply or a stable fire-fighting system.

Timelessness

The interior design emphasized coziness, comfort and light scenes. The timeless design is in keeping with the expression of the existing building. The dominant feature is the vertical slatted panelling on the walls, which also serves as the back of the bed. The joinery flows into a transparent steel screen, visually separating the bed area from the dressing area. Under the windows, a continuous tabletop with solid wood decor is designed to span the full width of the room. Television screens on the walls are clad in acoustic upholstered paneling, and the suites have swivel screens on a centrally located carpentry base.

"Indirect lighting and the plasticity of the tiles accentuate the contrast of light and shadows."

The interior is dominated by materials in pleasant shades of coffee with black accessories and strong colour accents on upholstered furniture and in the kitchens. The bathroom has a minimalist design with embossed terracotta tiles and accessories in white. Indirect lighting, profiled tiles, embossed wallpaper and mirrors co-create several scenes highlighting the contrast of light and shadows.
