Reconstruction of the ground floor of building 510 in the Česana area from workshops and warehouses to a top presentation and work environment with a focus on VR technologies. The functional content and specification of the entire space is based on close cooperation with users and their requirements for operation. The location of all rooms has its functional justification and serves to increase the efficiency of work processes.
We had to combine all the new requirements for a modern working environment with the construction system of the historic building 510 and at the same time complex operation, including requirements for the movements of car models. The spine space is thus a comfortable communication corridor, which is used for the movement of people and for handling car models. The corridor is also designed as a representative space with work boxes. The main space is a spacious multifunctional VR studio, which can be acoustically divided into 2 smaller and operationally independent units.
The entire build is a big step forward towards digitizing workflows, speeding up decision-making and approval in car design and, in the long term, reducing costs throughout the entire development process.
